Change – A Reflection

For some of us change comes fast and for others change comes slow…Change is good for us as long as we change for the better…Sadly many often change for the worse before they change for the better and some never change at all…When I read about narcissistic people during my time in Ireland I discovered that many will present as having changed to win you over again when they realize they messed up…That is not lasting or sincere change that is manipulation and control…It took me many years to understand the narcissistic personality type which is a disordered personality…Many today have disordered personalities and it is often due to influences from both the home and outside the home…Music has a major influence on people these days which can be positive and good or negative depending on the message being transmitted via music…Music is good for us but is not always in our best interest…I stopped listening to music that would affect my mood and find that I am much more at peace…I enjoy singing the scriptures acapella and in Luke Ch. 11. Jesus speaks about the good spirit and how the good spirit is given to those that are in the light and is not given to those that are in darkness…Also the eye is the mirror to the soul and there cannot be darkness in us if we wish to be of the light of Christ…Some sing in songs asking God to consume their darkness that is not accurate for darkness must be avoided in the first place so as to be a beacon of light otherwise the darkness becomes food to be fed upon by the devil…The devil feeds off darkness and cannot feed off light…This is very powerful…Many of us have been lied to and yes lies are told in the bible by certain individuals who believe their own lies and as such remain in darkness…Sadly while Jesus Christ came to save he could not save all he could save many but not all…I hope you enjoy Luke Ch. 11 with this post…Today I am grateful that I recognize within myself the need to change for the better and I hope and pray to do this one day at a time…
